Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

General Description:  Under the direction of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, provides specialized therapy services to eligible students with speech and language disorders.  Responsible for assisting with the screening, assessment, planning, goal development, and providing appropriate intervention services.  

Requirements:

1. Must possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
2. Must possess or be eligible for a valid SLPA license in the state of Virginia. 
3. Ability to implement therapeutic techniques under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
4. Experience with pediatric speech therapy preferred.
